Geelong Community Seminar

Armstrong Creek Community Hub, 46 Central Boulevard, Armstrong Creek VIC 3217 (map)

Thu 20th Feb 2025, 11:00am to 3:30pm (4 hours, 30 minutes)

Are you interested in learning more about Parkinson's and connecting with other people living with the condition? Join us at our Geelong Community Seminar on Thursday 20 February.

Fight Parkinson's Community Seminars provide a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Parkinson's, its treatments, and the importance of social connections in managing the condition for a full and active life.

Attendees will gain insights from Neurologist and Movement Disorder Specialist Dr Daniel Barber. They will also have the opportunity to engage with members of the Fight Parkinson's Health Team, who will address frequently asked questions about Parkinson’s.

We will also be presenting a section of the Your Care Your Choice education program. This will provide insights into navigating the health and community systems to find where you can get support for Parkinson’s and provide information communicating need, self-advocacy, and choice.

This free event welcomes anyone in the Geelong region and surrounding areas. The Community Seminar will be held at Armstrong Creek Community Hub, 46 Central Bvd, Armstrong Creek VIC 3217. Please arrive at 11:00am am for check-in and light refreshments. The seminar begins at 11.30am.

While there is no fee to attend, registrations are required. You can register by calling Fight Parkinson's on 03 8809 0400 or online via the link below:
