Positive Life: Cognition and Parkinson’s [POSTPONED]

Online Session via Teams
Session
17 Jul 2024 (Wed) 10:00am to 11:00am
This Positive Life Session is postponed.

Do you sometimes find it hard to find the right word? Need more time to put your thoughts into words? Do you find being in a busy, noisy environment can make it harder to think, concentrate and process information?

This presentation will explore the possible changes to thinking that people with Parkinson’s may experience and how these cognitive functions can be assessed. We will also offer some practical strategies to help you and your loved ones understand and manage the challenges these changes may cause.

Don’t miss your opportunity to hear from Fight Parkinson’s Speech Pathologist, Janet Benalcazar, who will provide an overview of common cognitive challenges experienced in Parkinson’s and ways these cognitive changes can be managed.
