Are you interested in learning more about Parkinson's and connecting with other people living with the condition? Join us at our Western District Community Seminar on Tuesday 1 April.
Fight Parkinson's Community Seminars provide a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Parkinson's, its treatments, and the importance of social connections in managing the condition for a full and active life.
Attendees will gain insights from Exercise Physiologist, Luke Frost and Speech Pathologist, Stephen Hill. They will also have the opportunity to engage with the Fight Parkinson's Team.
We will also be presenting a section of the Your Care Your Choice education program. This will provide insights into navigating the health and community systems to find where you can get support for Parkinson’s and provide information communicating need, self-advocacy, and choice.
This free event welcomes anyone in the Western District region and surrounding areas. The Community Seminar will be held at Western District Health Service, Hamilton Hospital - 20 Foster St, Hamilton VIC 3300. Please arrive at 2pm for check-in. The seminar begins at 2:10pm.
